Project-Based Learning

Project-Based Learning

authentic learning experiences that connect teachers and students

Project-based learning integrates real-world experiences and resources into reading, writing, science, and social studies, which is why I am so passionate about helping teachers.

Students choose a project to research, utilizing tools from the Buck Institute and Information in Action kits, fostering interdisciplinary learning and engagement.

The students were ecstatic!

Throughout the project, the students were very engaged in their learning and excited to work on their flyers and books. We incorporated several academic areas such as science, English language arts, technology and even art. This project showed students how each of these subjects applied to a real-world situation. The excitement on their faces both with their donation to the library and seeing their published work displayed at the aquarium was priceless.
