A fun twist on Summer School

Over the summer, some students don’t keep up on the reading and the skills they learned throughout the year. Reading books every day over the summer is important and helps decrease the reading slide.

Keeping students engaged in reading helps keep their brains ready for a great school year in the fall!

Using different strengths such as hope, kindness, courage and confidence educators will participate in a dynamic summer program focused on enhancing literacy through diverse reading resources, nurturing social-emotional development, promoting healthy nutrition habits, and fostering enjoyment of art, music, physical education, and STEM/STEAM activities, all while cultivating ‘Super Readers’ aligned with elementary ELA curriculum.
